Labor Strategy and Telliris Announce Partnership

Labor Strategy is always looking for ways to expand service to our existing customer base as well as new customers. Telliris, a best in class telephone-based time and attendance data collection company, was a perfect fit to provide flexibility and efficiencies to organizations. Labor Strategy believes Telliris’ IVR functionality, will expand our service by providing companies in all industries the ability to implement real-time, multi-channel, automated time and attendance data collection systems to drive down labor management costs and to increase productivity

  • Hospitals: Nurses walk up to 15 miles per day. In addition to being highly mobile, nurses and other hospital employees, during the course of their day, may work in several departments and perform various jobs in many locations throughout a wide area campus. Additionally, highly trained and educated hospital workers dislike the stigma of punching a clock. Telliris Attend provides the perfect answer to this problem by leveraging the widespread availability of telephones throughout a hospital and alleviating unease with punch clocks. Using station-id information, Telliris Attend can restrict transactions by employee, departments, jobs, projects, etc... to defined stations throughout the hospital. This enables hospitals to, not only; track labor costs by department, but also, improves productivity by eliminating false time reporting.
  • Temporary Staffing: Temporary staffing agencies have a unique labor monitoring and tracking challenge on their hands. The high degree of transience of temporary workers makes the cost of administering, maintaining and replacing portable devices prohibitively expensive. Because Telliris Attend is centralized and leverages the widespread availability of telephones, IVR is favored by temporary staffing agencies. Additionally, through the use of caller-id, Telliris Attend can verify an employee’s presence at their assigned workplace - eliminating false attendance reports or providing evidence in contract performance disputes.
  • Field Service: Equipment dealers and service and repair companies send workers out into the field and often to remote locations lacking reliable Internet connectivity. Even in the most remote areas, land line telecommunications networks are readily available. The highly available public telephone network enables the real-time capture of time and attendance data via telephone. Additionally, using caller-id, Telliris Attend can verify the presence of the worker at the client worksite ensuring repair technicians report hours accurately and when the customer is expecting them.
  • Universities & School Systems: Telliris Attend provides a cost-effective alternative to maintaining fixed mount badge readers in a distributed campus or public school setting. Using IVR technology, Telliris Attend, is a centralized system that leverages existing telecommunications infrastructure and preexisting telephones for time and labor data capture enabling educational institutions to avoid the incremental expense of installing, maintaining and replacing fixed mount data capture devices in a wide area.
  • Movie and Television Production: Movie and television production studios are confronted with the competing challenges of complex labor and payroll rules and mobile and transient labor forces. Telliris Attend enables these companies to fully automate the complex and time-consuming process of calculating payroll from end-to-end by delivering a means to automate data collection from their transient, globally distributed and mobile workforce.

Labor Strategy looks forward to a strong partnership with Telliris, providing a best in breed application coupled with superior support and service.
